Little Sister Lydia

The boys are getting a little sister and her name is Lydia! We got to see Lydi on Friday at my ultrasound. I was 17 w 6 d and she looked heathly and adorable. We brought the boys with us and Payton sat at watched the TV screen with the ultrasound of his baby the whole time. Kellen was mostly oblivious and just sat in the stroller eating his lunch. It was such a great experience. I have been feeling so different this pregnancy so part of me suspected a girl, but since a boy is all we have ever known I inadvertantly called her "he" for a long time (and still sometimes do!) One of my best friends who has a three girls just found out she is having a boy, so we will have lots of stuff to trade :)
Here are a few of the ultrasound picture

It is a girl!

These are the balloons that Payton showed up at his Grandma's works with to announce the big news!
Here are a few more of the boys:

16 weeks

17+ weeks

I can feel her moving quite a bit now, but I don't think I am showing quite as much as I was with the boys. I am currently at my starting weight. I had gained 2 lbs, but I had the flu last week so I am back to even. I am sure the weight will start to pile on soon though! We rented a doppler for a month and we have had fun listening to Lydi's heartbeat and hearing her move all over. Payton loves to use it to talk to her.

Christmas pictures!

Here are a ton of picture from Christmas. I couldn't decide which ones not to post. We had an awesome but crazy Christmas and I can only imagine it getting even crazier over the next few years.
Everyone in their Christmas Sweaters, Christmas Eve. This is as close as we could get to everyone looking and smiling!

Trying to get a picture of Payton and Kellen sitting on the couch together... It never did happen :)

This might of have been Payton's favorite gift!

Christmas Tree hunt and Gingerbread Houses

We are busy as always especially with so much fun Christmas stuff going on. We are so busy with life that sometimes I forget that I am pregnant. Sorry baby #3, maybe I will think of you more once I know your gender and can feel you moving around! I am almost 12 weeks and am finally starting to feel better. Still sick at night sometimes and always wishing there was time for a nap during the day, but not so bad! I go in Tuesday for another appointment and will hopefully then set up my big ultrasound date.
Payton has grown up so much lately. We are always amazed and amused by the things he comes up with. He loves playing "Cooties" and Candyland" although he needs help remembering not to cheat. He can say the abc's and actually say each letter and count to 15 which at that point he just says teen numbers in random order over and over again. He is excited about the new baby and is convienced its a boy. He already calls him Spencer, so we will have to work on that if it ends up being a girl :)
Kellen has started talking a ton. He says "Mom, daddy, Payton, Abby, Kitty, More, Please, Thank you, shoe, diaper, pacifier, eat, bath, uh-oh, ball, hat, shh, ni-night, hi and bye", and probably a few more. He has such a different personality than Payton. He dances anytime there is music, which is the funniest dancing we have ever seen. And he loves to eat. If you try to sneak a bite, he sees or hears you and starts begging, more, please.
Here are some pictures of our latest fun!
Payton helping to haul out some branches
Kellen still hates being in the snow but he is fine as long as he is in the backpack or someone is carrying him
Payton and Livi taking advantage of me pulling them in the sled

Starting on our gingerbread houses

Gregg took it very seriously

Playing in the snow

Our driveway makes a great sledding hill

He loves the snow

Unlike Kellen who acts like we are killing him everytime we set him down in it

Payton thought it was awesome that Gregg was holding him while standing on a chair to reach the top of the tree... I did not!

Our attempt at a self timer picture :)

Thanksgiving 2010

Helping make the apple pie
Payton's drawing of Kellen. He did this one all on his own. He is still working on anatomy, notice the very small arm coming out from underneath Kellen's ear.
Happy Family

Its Kellen's Turn...

To be a big brother! We went in a few days ago and saw the heartbeat for a second time. The whole pregnancy began with a slight scare but it was my own impatient fault. A friend of ours did an ultrasound for us when I thought I was 6w 1d along. At that point you should be able to see the heartbeat...or at least the fetal pole. To our shock, all we saw was an empty sac measuring 5w 5 d. This could mean one of two things, my due date was off or a pending miscarriage. She told us to come back in a week and I immediately started worrying....I know I know better, but that was all I could think of. It was a long week but by the end of it we were trusting that either way God had a plan for us and we would be sad but ok if it was the worse of the two.
Thankfully as soon as the second ultrasound began we saw a heartbeat and a little baby measuring 6w 5d...growing perfectly! My first appointment was on the 16th and we saw the heartbeat again and the baby was measuring right on track at 8w 1d. So in June, there will be another little Jones running around. Sometime in January we will find out if the third Jones Kid is a boy or a girl, but right now we are happy that either way the baby is in there and growing away.

Here are some pictures over the past week!
