Christmas Clothes :)

Every year my grandma sends us all Christmas sweaters. Here are the pictures from after the Christmas eve service. Some of the groupings worked out well, some were challenging! Christmas Time 2011

We had so much fun at Christmas! It was so great to have Kendra, Gavin, Hudson, Keaton and Big Papa to join us. The boys had a blast and everyone got cool presents. It was fun this year because Christmas was on a Sunday so we had our Christmas eve service Saturday night, came home and made BLT's with the family and opened the presents from GG and Gramps. The boys got sleeping bags from REI that will be awesome for camping this summer (and of course they had to bring them to bed with them to sleep in them!). On Christmas morning our kids slept in finally at 8 we woke up Lydi and headed up to my parents. The kids opened their stockings and we all had the traditional Cinnamon rolls and OJ for breakfast and then we all headed to church. We let the kids go in their jammies which they thought was awesome. After church we came back home for taco soup and round two of presents. It was fun because we took our time and there was no rush. When I say no rush I mean it took us 3 hours to go around the circle one at a time and open all the gifts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!

I love that we are able to start Christmas traditions with our kids that we will continue for years to come. I hope that they remember doing these things as a family when they grow up. Stringing popcorn with the boys was one of those traditions. Granted this year we only were able to do a few feet, it was enough to put on their little tree and they had a blast and were so proud. and we can't forget the tradtional pictures of Lydi in her Christmas dresses... man I am looking forward to many years of this!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christmas Tree is set up...we are almost ready!

We went out on our third annual tree hunt with our friends the Hagemeiers and the Schells. For having 10 kids 5 and under we all did well although it was 12 degrees when we started. I love having friends with kids the same age as our kids so they can all grow up together.
